Then although there came to them Our messengers with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land.

As you can see if you read the whole verse it’s left open ended if you are up to mischief in the land. Not exactly as a muslim would have you believe … right.
When you read stories of thiefs hands being cut off in Saudi or stoning of female adulters in Iran or kuffir being killed causing mischief in Somalia and other places. It’s spot on Islam.
If you want a whitewashed version ask a muslim. If you want the REAL version go to the source … Quran/hadeth/sunna.
