Update Champ came out swinging with BLAME Bush right from the onset then pivot, pivot, pivot … head fake … shake and bake … then the money shot! Yep that pretty much covers the speech. Oh and more blame Bush. Funny thing is all the pivots are all the things Bush would have done. This is slick though. If they work he takes credit. If they don’t work he can still blame Bush. One thing he couldn’t bring himself to do is blame Bush for is winning the Iraq war … see he can claim he doesn’t blame Bush for everything!

Hmmm … More nuclear plants, drill now, solar, wind etc. sounds great. Jack’s taking bets though. He’ll eat his hat if a nuke plant is built before 2020 or any NEW drilling takes place.

All in all … a good “campaign” speech with lots of promises. Can we call it “State of the Union of the Future!” Like his plan to freeze government spending … yea in the future.

Tonight our President will give his state of the union address. His press secretary conveyed Obama will tell US why WE are so angry. After 411 + speeches WE still don’t understand his vision.
Jack does not need Obama or a shrink or anyone to tell him why he is angry. He can make that determination himself. But go ahead champ … give it your best shot!
