Woman worth half that of a man.
Where do they get this idea? Quran/hadeth/sunna ofcourse. Ask any muslim woman and they will tell you that Islam gave them their rights. Yep Islam gave them the right to be worth half that of a man or boy.
Ok what to expect in 2011. That’s pretty easy. More of the same and if you ask Jack it will be much more of the same. More of this in Islamic nations.

That law would be the “blasphemy law” in Islam. Look for the OIC to push hard through the UN to make it international law. Look for the “moderate” muslims to continue to give lip service to “Islam is the religion of peace” while in every nation on earth that muslims reside it will be “we love death as you love life.”
And where do they get that? Quran/hadeth/sunna of course.

No, my parents and sisters and everyone I know believe that this idea exists in the Quran/Sunna/Hadith. But it doesn’t! Believe me?

I have not found this in Quran.(blood money)
I have found it in hadeth /sunna.
I have found in Quran that a man has “all” authority over a woman. Also a womans testimony in court is 1/2 that of a man. That’s probably where they come up with a womans worth is 1/2 that of a man.

the quran said a woman’s testimony is 1/2 that of a man in one case/context, but men apply this everywhere and all the time. i don’t like that about the quran, but i accept it more than the first belief that is general and stupid.
i hate arab and muslim men. its not because they don’t use their minds and try to understand the quran well, but becuase theyre looking for anything that would support their oppressive ideas about women. and they say muslim women have their full rights!!
