Since the pipeline shutdown, there have been no long lines at gasoline stations, and because many traders expected the interruption to be brief, the market reaction was muted. Nationwide, the price of regular gasoline climbed by only half a cent to $2.97 on Monday from Sunday, even though the company could not set a timetable for restarting the pipeline. New York State prices remained stable at $3 a gallon, according to the AAA motor club.
“Potentially it will be inconvenient,” said Ed Hirs, an energy economist at the University of Houston. “But it’s not a big deal because there is storage in the Northeast and all the big oil and gas companies can redirect seaborne cargoes of refined product when it is required.”

(ABC 6 News) - A Minnesota company is now in the national spotlight after the founder of My Pillow Mike Lindell was at the White House talking about how the company has converted a portion of its manufacturing to make face masks for healthcare workers.
“MyPillow has joined the fight against COVID-19. We are now manufacturing masks for our nation’s healthcare workers. These masks will not be for sale to the public. Please keep all those impacted in your prayers. We will get through this together.” said Mike Lindell, Inventor & CEO of MyPillow.
Lindell says the company is currently making 10,000 masks per day and expects to produce 50,000 cotton face masks by Friday. The masks will be distributed to healthcare workers across the county.
She has donated a million dollars to doctors fighting the novel coronavirus and just will be have her Kylie Cosmetics factories producing hand sanitizer.
Last but not least Jacks sister belongs to a quilting group and they have made 500 masks for the local community. Everyone can help if they just get with the program.
HOUSTON — The opening of an investigation of Exxon Mobil by the New York attorney general’s office into the company’s record on climate change may well spur legal inquiries into other oil companies, according to legal and climate experts, although successful prosecutions are far from assured.
This is Obama’s way of telling companies that you better get on board with the “climate change” propaganda or the government will come down hard on you. It’s businesses now. Next it will individuals. Look for the IRS to get involved with individuals. This is only the beginning.

Jack works for a publically traded electric utility. The company he works for owns four nuke plants in the Northeast that are up and running (never lost generation). The company he works has sent 100’s of tool workers to help with restoration. He knows how sensitive union/non union issues can be. He has NEVER seen this happen in an emergency like the Northeast is having at this time.
This is NOT cutting the “RED TAPE” Obama eluded to.

The Labor Department said Monday that it has yet to make a decision on whether to delay Friday’s closely-watched October employment report due to the effects from Hurricane Sandy.
Bloomberg NewsFederal government offices in Washington are closed Monday and may be shut again Tuesday due to the storm. It isn’t clear if the closure would cause a delay in processing the data.
“We will assess the situation when the weather emergency is over and notify the press and public of any changes at that time,” said Gary Steinberg, spokesman for the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the data arm of the department.
The Labor Department is also scheduled to release its third quarter employment cost index Wednesday, and the third quarter productivity and weekly jobless claims reports Thursday.
The most closely watched is Friday’s jobs report, which will give the final measure the unemployment ahead of next week’s presidential election.
