At Jack’s workplace someone is on call 24/7/365. And if a major event is anticipated or is in progress ALL vacations are canceled immediately. You know … ALL hands on deck.
Not so for the federal government … they just keep on sking, surfing … who knows!
Yea it would be too much for the federal government to do like the rest of us and cut short vacations … because of a little terror attack.

Yeah, who knows what Janet Napolitano was doing in San Francisco over the holidays - supposedly visiting her brother (wink-wink). She didn’t return to DC after the incident either.
